We saw in the post: “Which sanitary ware and their toilet seats are the widest? From what size is a toilet seat non-standard? (part 1) ” the ceramic series STARCK 1, AMICA, BONSAI SOSPESO, SCULTURE and ASSOLUTO and thanks to them we have pointed out that the standard width of 37 cm has often been exceeded to 38, 39, 40 cm. DIANA series by Azzurra Ceramica
It is the 80s and 90s series of the ceramic house, the golden age of the sanitary market. The time of the specification series and large numbers. In the post: “Sanitaryware from the 80s and 90s. Finding the toilet seat cover” we have seen its competitors of the period, some capable of impressive sales figures: series Tesi by Ideal Standard, Sintesi series by Cesame, Clodia series by Dolomite, Luce series by Catalano, Fantasia series by Pozzi Ginori. This sanitary ware by Azzurra is reminiscent of the style of the period, a detail that makes it very recognisable is the slight downward slope at the back of the hole. Unlike its ‘cousins’ it could be considered a large toilet bowl. Its toilet seat cover in all variations is available in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ clik HERE ]
IRIS series by Azzurra Ceramica
In several previous posts we have seen how the rectangular shape in sanitary ware has been proposed by all ceramic manufacturers. From this: “Old, discontinued rectangular sanitary ware. Special covers for very old shapes.(part 3)” we quote the following extract: ‘Throughout the history of bathroom furniture, many ceramic companies have tried their hand at producing rectangular shaped sanitary ware. Most of these series are now out of production and finding a toilet seat cover is often very difficult. In previous posts we have already looked at WCs of this type and suggested the link where you can find their toilet seat. In the post: ”Rectangular toilet seats. Azzurra Ceramica customises the retro shape with lines that embroider the ceramic in a very creative and unique way. The toilet seat cover for this sanitary ware can be found in the store at the following link [ clik HERE ]
