We have seen PIENZA, PALIO and TUSCIA. Today we will look at the three best-selling sanitaryware series from the historic ceramic company and their particular toilet seats.
DUCCIO series by Ceramica Senesi
It is certainly the best known vase of the Senesi production. In the posts: “Sanitaryware with a raised surface. WC seats with 45° fixing hinges (part 1)” e “The CONCA toilet bowl and toilet seat and its “brothers” we have rightly talked about it because it is certainly one of the main players in those categories. The peculiarity of this sanitary ware is that only where the toilet seat is fixed it is raised at 45° with respect to the surface. DONATELLO series by Ceramiche Senesi
It is one of the sanitary ware considered narrow, its upper shelf for the toilet seat measuring only 34 cm. In the 1980s its direct competitors were ELLISSE by Ideal Standard, SELNOVA by Pozzi Ginori and PERLA by Dolomite, played the market share game on equal terms with the holy monsters! What makes this toilet seat very recognisable is the slight inward tilt at the top end of its figure. The supporting surface of the toilet seat is considerably reduced and a very precise product is needed to avoid slipping. We have fixed hinges on our DEDICATED Top version which make it stable and durable. It was produced mainly in the colour White, but also in the colour Champagne. LUTEZIA series by Ceramiche Senesi
This was the classic/retro style series from the Tuscan ceramic manufacturer. The very square foot of the sanitary ware is beautiful. We talked about it in the post: “And then comes Montebianco Classic/Antique Sanitari ware and their toilet seats (part 2)” where we saw other sanitary ware produced by other ceramic manufacturers that resembled the old-style line: MONTEBIANCO, ALBANO, PALLADIO and LONDRA.
